Full Itinerary

Days 1-2 Two full days exploring London's greatest hits, from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and a rotation on the London Eye. An evening Thames dinner cruise on the first night gives you a memorable introduction to the capital's illuminated skyline.
Day 3 We travel west to Stonehenge, the enigmatic 5,000-year-old stone circle on Salisbury Plain, before continuing to the elegant Georgian city of Bath to tour the ancient Roman Baths and admire the honey-coloured crescents of Georgian architecture.
Day 4 A scenic drive through the golden-stone villages of the Cotswolds leads to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, where we visit his family home and the picturesque, thatched Anne Hathaway's Cottage.
Day 5 Travelling north to Liverpool, we follow in the footsteps of The Beatles with a guided tour of the city's musical landmarks, including the Cavern Club quarter and the famous waterfront, before an evening at leisure.
Day 6 We continue into the Lake District, the fell-and-lake landscape that inspired generations of poets and writers, with a relaxing cruise on one of its glassy lakes and free time to soak in the scenery.
Days 7-8 Two days exploring the historic north: York's medieval walls, York Minster and the Viking-age Jorvik Centre, followed by a visit to Hadrian's Wall, the Roman Empire's northernmost frontier, still snaking dramatically across the hills after nearly 1,900 years.
Days 9-10 In Edinburgh, we tour the castle above the city and walk the Royal Mile down to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, with a full free day to explore museums, closes and viewpoints such as Arthur's Seat at your own pace.
Day 11 A full day into the Scottish Highlands, cruising the mysterious waters of Loch Ness and passing through the dramatic glen of Glencoe, with plenty of stops for photographs of some of Britain's most breathtaking scenery.
Day 12 Our final day sees us travel to Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, in time for your onward flight or departure, bringing an action-packed 12-day panorama of Britain to a close.
